The Sunday Rest Practice

Best Paired With: Tea, Bath Soak, Candle, Journal

Sunday is not for catching up — it’s for coming back to yourself.

The Sunday Rest Practice is a gentle invitation to slow your body, quiet your mind, and prepare for the week ahead without pressure or urgency. There is nothing to fix here. Only space to soften.

The Flow

Begin by brewing a warm cup of tea. Let it steep fully — not just the leaves, but you. Sit with it for a moment before moving on.

Next, create warmth. A candle, low lighting, or quiet music is enough. You don’t need silence — just less noise.

If your body is asking for deeper care, run a bath or foot soak. Let the water do the work. No timers. No expectations.

When you feel ready, transition into reflection. Open your journal and allow your thoughts to land on the page without editing or correcting them.

This practice is not about productivity. It’s about presence. Return to it whenever your week begins to feel heavy.
